OutIndex Continues U.S. Expansion
Appoints industry veteran Vicki Karim as Vice President of Global Business Development, Technology and Consulting Services
KENNINGTON, LONDON and NEW YORK, NY (February 12th, 2007) – Outindex (www.outindex.com), the leading electronic discovery software company in Europe, today announced the addition of Vicki Karim, as VP of Business Development, Global Technology and Consulting Services for Outindex USA Inc.
Karim’s responsibilities include managing new business and client site development initiatives, providing technical application support and consulting services to clients, and establishing and maintaining client communications.
Previously, Karim provided high-level litigation software development, project management and electronic discovery support to the world’s leading auto maker. She interfaced with end-users, consultants, technical teams, and vendors at the executive level to determine and provide the most appropriate and efficient software tools. As a part of the electronic discovery team, she assisted in the isolation, recovery, analysis, processing and management of electronic documents for the purpose of using the evidence in civil and criminal cases. Tasked with providing leadership through start-up, growth, and turn around situations, she repeatedly proved her ability to deliver strong and sustained results.
Prior to litigation application and electronic discovery support, Karim brought her expertise in corporate training and systems analysis to the legal staff of the auto maker. She trained the corporate legal staff on proprietary litigation support software through various methods, including demonstrations, one on one, remote and classroom settings. Vicki utilized her technical writing skills to create manuals, tutorials, and other end-user documentation for legal staff use. She ensured end user success by minimizing technical difficulties through analysis, and diagnoses of hardware and software problems on multiple platforms via workstations and remote access.
